Kiara Jones

Vicksburg, Mississippi  | ICFM Board Member & secretary

Vicksburg-based Artist Kiara Jones has been honing her skills in choreography for the past fourteen years. Originally in adolescence, Kiara blended her choreography skills with several years of mime experience in church and conferences, introducing a union of her two passions. Kiara graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology, studying criminal theories informed by principles of sociology and statistics. She proceeded with an interest in understanding personal development and social patterns and then implementing positive environmental change for youth in her community. Her academic accomplishments include serving as a historian of the Sociological Student Association and a member of the National Society of Leadership and Success, 2019. Working with children of various skill and developmental levels at the Central Mississippi Prevention Center, Kiara tutored grades K-6. She monitored social interactions to promote positive social experiences through art to suit each child's needs.

Kiara's progress into youth mentorship allowed her to introduce peer counseling in the ICFM "Building Block" initiative leadership camps and further extend youth and adolescent development. In this camp, participants intensely train in group team-building exercises, individual leadership principles, and dance and mime choreography to uproot future artists in the community. Her focus on call and response and activation of the arts allows Kiara to challenge the boundaries of mime and flag - utilizing team-building principles and personal and skill development.

As ICFM Board Secretary, Kiara provides administrative support in official communications with board members and recording meetings, exploring the depths of community experience. She has been a licensed insurance producer for two years, creating social benefits and promoting financial literacy. Trained in the Leading SAFe and Business Agility course, she advanced a career as a program coordinator, enabling collaboration and efficient communication skills within an organization.

Jazmine Sanders

ICFM Board Member

Jazmine Sanders is a native of Vicksburg, Mississippi. She is a December 2015 graduate of Alcorn State University, and she holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education. Jazmine also received her Master of Education degree in Elementary Education from Mississippi College in December 2017. Jazmine currently lives in Vicksburg where she is a third grade Math and Science teacher. She is also the author of her blog “JKSentiments” where she writes articles from personal experiences to inspire young women to see themselves as daughters of God. She is a disciple of New Beginnings Ministry of Vicksburg under the leadership of Apostle Michelle King and Dan King,

Jazmine began praise dancing when she was 12, but it wasn’t until 2013 where God began to open her eyes to see the true purpose and ministry in dance. Over the years, Jazmine has devoted herself to training and studying of the ministry of dance. Jazmine has traveled throughout Mississippi, Louisiana, and other regions to grow and minister in dance. She operates heavily as a prophetic and warrior dance minister with worship and complete adoration to God at the core of everything. Because of her love and obedience to God, the more she danced, the more God began to reveal more of Himself in her. Jazmine has since accepted her calling into the ministry of preaching and prophecy, and she aims to present the fullness of God in whichever way God deems necessary.

Life has taught Jazmine that there are truly many plans we can create for our lives, but in the end, it is God’s purpose that prevails (Proverbs 19:21). Throughout the ups and downs that Jazmine has faced in her life and ministry, she has held on to the scripture she lives by:

“And blessed is she that believed: for there shall be a performance of those things which were told her from the Lord.Luke 1:45
